ગુજરાતમાં છેલ્લા થોડા વર્ષોથી પ્રગતિશીલ ખેડૂતોની સંખ્યા વધી રહી છે. આવા ખેડૂતો પૈકી કેટલીક નવીન પ્રકારની કે વિશેષ ખેતી કરતાં ખેડૂતોનું સરકાર સન્માન કરે છે. આ યોજનાનું નામ સરદાર પટેલ કૃષિ સંશોધન પુરસ્કાર છે. જેમાં ખેડૂતોને 51 હજારનો પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવે છે.

The Sardar Patel Agricultural Research Award is a scheme by the state government to encourage enthusiastic and progressive farmers who have done special work in different fields of agriculture. Promoting the farmer means promoting agriculture. So far many progressive farmers have been honored in this scheme of Gujarat Government.

- સફળ સૂકી ખેતીમાં પ્રદાન
- નવિનતમ સંકલિત રોગ જીવાત નિયંત્રણ કરવા માટે અનોખી સિદ્ધી
- કોઠાસુઝથી નવીન ખેત ઓજાર વિકસાવવા
- મધમાખી પાલન, મત્સ્ય પાલન, મરઘાં ઉછેર વગેર કૃષિ સંલગ્ન ક્ષેત્રે વિશિષ્ટ કામગીરી માટે શાલ અને સન્માન પત્ર આપી બહુમાન
