મોદી સરકાર દ્વારા અનેક યોજનાઓ ચલાવવામાં આવે છે, જે અંતર્ગત તમામ વર્ગના લોકોને વિશેષ સુવિધાઓ આપવામાં આવે છે. આજે અમે તમને કેન્દ્ર સરકારની એક એવી યોજના વિશે જણાવીશું જેમાં દેશની મહિલાઓને દર મહિને પૈસા આપવામાં આવે છે. સરકારની આ યોજનામાં રકમ રાજ્ય પ્રમાણે અલગ-અલગ હોય છે. અમે આજે તમને સરકારની વિધવા પેન્શન યોજના વિશે જણાવવા જઈ રહ્યા છીએ, જેમાં સરકાર આર્થિક રીતે નબળી મહિલાઓને મદદ કરે છે, જે હેઠળ તેઓ પોતાનું ગુજરાન સારી રીતે કમાઈ શકે છે. વિધવા પેન્શન યોજના હેઠળ મહિલાઓને દર મહિને પેન્શનની રકમ આપવામાં આવે છે.

નિરાધાર વિધવા બહેનો સમાજમાં સન્માનભેળ જીવન જીવી શકે તે માટે ગુજરાત સરકારના મહિલા અને બાળવિકાસ વિભાગ દ્વારા વિધવા બહેનોને આર્થિક મદદરૂપ થવાના ઉદ્દેશ સાથે વિધવા સહાય યોજના અમલમાં મુકવામાં આવેલ છે. જેમાં વિધવા બહેનોને 21 વર્ષથી વધુ ઉંમરનો પુત્ર હોય તો પણ આ યોજનાનો લાભ મળશે. વિધવા સહાય યોજના ગુજરાત રાજ્ય દ્વારા ચલાવવામાં આવે છે તથા કેન્‍દ્ર સરકાર દ્વારા અને ગુજરાત રાજ્ય સંયુક્ત રીતે “ઈન્‍દિરા ગાંધી નેશનલ વિ‍ડો પેન્શન સ્કીમ” તરીકે ચલાવવામાં આવે છે.

વિધવા સહાય યોજના કોને મળે?

વિધવા સહાય યોજનાનો લાભ નીચે આપેલ માપદંડો અનુસાર આપવામાં આવે છે.

18 વર્ષ કે તેથી વધુ વયની કોઈપણ નિરાધાર વિધવાઓને મૃત્યુ પર્યંત વિધવા સહાય લાભ મળવાપાત્ર થશે.
રાષ્ટ્રીય સામાજિક સહાય કાર્યક્રમ-NSAP હેઠળ Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (ઈન્‍દિરા ગાંધી નેશનલ વિડો પેન્‍શન સ્કીમ) અંર્તગત BPL લાભાર્થી જેમની 40 વર્ષથી વધુ હોય તેવી વિધવા સ્ત્રીઓને આ યોજનાનો લાભ મળવાપાત્ર થાય છે.
ગુજરાત સરકારની નિરાધાર વિધવા પેન્‍શન યોજના (DWPS) અંતર્ગત લાભાર્થી જેમની ઉંમર 18 થી ૪૦ વર્ષની વચ્ચે હોય અને 40 થી વધુ વર્ષ ઉપરના BPL ન ધરાવતા હોય તેમને આ યોજનાનો લાભ મળવાપાત્ર થાય છે.
વિધવા(ગંગા સ્વરૂપા આર્થિક) સહાય મેળવવા માટે ગ્રામ્ય સ્તરે કુટુંબની વાર્ષિક આવક 1,20,000 (એક લાખ વીસ હજાર) તથા શહેરી વિસ્તાર માટે 1,50,000 (એક લાખ પચાસ હજાર) ની જોગવાઈ સરકારીશ્રી દ્વારા કરવામાં આવેલ છે.

What is the amount of assistance in Vidhva Sahay Yojana?

The widow beneficiary is credited Rs. 1250 / – per month directly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) to the beneficiary’s post / bank account.
In case of accidental death of the beneficiary receiving widow assistance, the heir is entitled to Rs. 1,00,000 / – (one lakh) under the Government’s Gujarat Collective Group Assistance (Janata) Accident Insurance Scheme.
All women between the ages of 18 and 40 receiving widow assistance will be required to undergo training in any government-approved trade (vocational) within 2 years.
