Education Qualification
As per cl. 2.6 (1) of GERC (CGRF and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2/2019, the Chairperson of the Forum shall be a retired district
judge/a retired senior judicial officer or a retired civil servant not below the rank of Collector or a retired electrical engineer not
below the rank of Superintending Engineer or Equivalent and having at least twenty (20) Years of experience, with adequate
knowledge of power sector. Experience related to consumer affairs will be preferred.
Experience
Having at least 20 (Twenty) year of experience, with adequate knowledge of power Sector. Experience related to consumer affairs will be preferred.
Age Limit
As per Clause 2.10 of GERC (CGRF and Ombudsman) Regulations, 2019, No person above the age of 65 years shall be appointed as the Chairperson.
